Définition
- Genotype is the information carried by an organism's genome, contained within each cell in the form of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Carried by chromosomes, it is located inside the nucleus in eukaryotes and in the cytoplasm in prokaryotes. In the DNA molecule, it is the sequence of nucleotides that constitutes the genetic information. (Adapted and translated from: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%A9notype)
