- The term "Pridolian" is sometimes used to refer to what is thought to be the only stage of the Pridoli series (Silurian). In fact, international nomenclature does not define any stage within the Pridoli series. The smallest subdivision of the international stratigraphic chart for the interval from 423.0 ± 2.3 to 419.2 ± 3.2 million years ago is the Pridoli series (or epoch). According to Pridoli in Bohemia.
