Définition
- The specific humidity (HS or q), or water content (Y), is the ratio of the mass of water in the air to the mass of moist air. It should not be confused with the mixing ratio, which is the ratio of the mass of water in the air to the mass of dry air. In contrast to relative or absolute humidity, specific humidity is retained when the air mass changes altitude or temperature, as long as there is no condensation or evaporation.
