Definition
- Un peroxyde est un composé chimique contenant un groupe fonctionnel de formule générale R-O-O-R' (abrégé peroxo quand il est mis en préfixe). Ces composés renferment une plus grande quantité d'oxygène qu'un oxyde normal.
