Le théorème d'Apéry, dû, en 1978, au mathématicien Roger Apéry, affirme que le nombre ${\\displaystyle \\zeta (3)={\ rac {1}{1^{3}}}+{\ rac {1}{2^{3}}}+{\ rac {1}{3^{3}}}+{\ rac {1}{4^{3}}}+\\cdots ,}$ où ζ est la fonction zêta de Riemann, est irrationnel. Ce nombre est également surnommé la constante d'Apéry.
