Nota de alcance
- The TBRS model is based on four main assumptions: "The first is that the two functions of WM [working memory], processing and storage, share a common limited attentional resource. The second is that due to a central bottleneck, cognitive processes can only take place one at a time in such a way that when attention is occupied by processing, it is no longer available for storage, and vice versa. The third is that when attention is switched away from WM traces, they suffer from temporal decay and interference. Finally, complete loss of these traces can be avoided by switching attention back and forth between processing and storage through a rapid switching process. Such a switching could take place during short pauses that can be freed during processing in order to refresh degraded memory traces." (Barrouillet & Camos, 2020, pp. 90-91).
