Definición
- A mathematically formalized instance-based theory that considers attention, categorization, and memory as different perspectives on a single cognitive act, modeled as a race among competing alternatives in which an object is simultaneously selected and categorized through analogy between stimuli and instances stored in memory (Logan, 2002).
