Scope note
- Dans une tâche d'amorçage sémantique, on présente aux participants des mots qui servent d’amorce, suivis de mots cibles. Un mot amorce est sémantiquement lié ou non au mot cible. Par exemple, l’amorce pourrait être « médecin » et la cible sémantiquement liée pourrait être « infirmière ». Les participants sont invités à prendre une décision sur le mot cible, généralement en déterminant s'il s'agit d'un vrai mot ou d'un non-mot. Les temps de réaction sont mesurés. L'effet d'amorçage sémantique est observé quand les participants réagissent plus rapidement au mot cible lorsqu'il est précédé d'une amorce sémantiquement liée que non liée (par exemple, « pain » comme amorce pour « infirmière »).
