Hunter-McCrary hypothesis
Definition
- A testable hypothesis stating that, when the proportion of errors at each serial position serves as the measure of serial learning, the serial-position curve would retain the same shape across experimental conditions, with more errors occurring for items in the middle of the list than for those at the beginning or the end.
