- Thucydide (en grec ancien : Thoukudídès) est un homme politique, stratège et historien athénien, né vers 460 av. J.-C dans le dème d'Halimonte (de nos jours, Álimos) en Attique ; il est mort, peut-être assassiné, entre 400 et 395 av. J.-C. Il est l'auteur de La Guerre du Péloponnèse, récit de la guerre qui opposa Athènes et Sparte entre 431 et 404 av. J.-C. (Source : DBpedia)
