- Orphée (en grec ancien Orpheús) est un héros de la mythologie grecque, fils du roi de Thrace Œagre et de la Muse Calliope. Poète et musicien, il était parfois considéré comme un prophète et a inspiré un mouvement religieux appelé "Orphisme", qui était lié aux pythagoriciens et aux mystères dionysiaques. Orphée a fait partie des Argonautes ; sa descente aux Enfers et son échec à ramener sa femme Eurydice dans le monde des vivants ont formé son mythe. (Source : DBpedia)
