meteoroids
Définition
- Natural solid objects moving in interplanetary space that are larger than a molecule but smaller than an asteroid. Beech and Steel (1995) proposed that they should be defined as 100 μm to 10 m, which takes account of instrumental limitations, physical constraints on their formation and the necessity to distinguish meteoroids from both asteroids and dust.
