Définition
- The daytime television talk show reached the apex of its popularity in the mid-1990s, with more than two dozen options available daily. Public criticism of such shows reached its peak at that time, too, focusing on the often bizarre participants, the emphasis on sexual deviance, and the frequent use of “ambush” techniques to startle guests and audience.
