John Francis Dickinson

- John Francis Dickinson (1732–1808) was a lawyer, politician, and signatory to the United States Constitution. His political writings contained influential arguments against the British practice of general warrants, which motivated the Framers of the Fourth Amendment to require that warrants be issued upon specific information.
