Richard L. Varco

- Born on August 14, 1912, in Fairview, Montana, Richard L. Varco helped invent the implantable drug pump used in chemotherapy and heparin delivery, and eventually used to infuse insulin, spinal drugs, and anticlotting medicine into the body.
