behavioralism in political science

Définition

  • The behavioral movement, sometimes referred to as the behavioral revolution, was an important aspect of American political science during the 1950s and 1960s. It presented itself as a challenge to what it characterizd as traditional and institutional approaches to the study of politics, and it became a contentious but increasingly ascendant position in the field.
