  • Mothers Ought To Have Equal Rights (MOTHERS) is an Internet-based community of mothers and other caregivers advocating for social change. The group was founded at a meeting in New York in 2002 by Ann Crittenden, author of The Price of Motherhood; members of the National Association of Mothers' Centers (NAMC); and other women's advocates in the United States, including members of the National Organization for Women and Advocates for Pregnant Women.
