Définition
- Competitive foods are foods and beverages available or sold at school outside of the federally reimbursed national school lunch and breakfast programs. The term competitive refers to the fact that these foods compete with the regulated school meal programs that are designed to meet a significant portion of the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) for nutrients and energy.
