- The term comparative victimology means the analysis of victimological subthemes like victim behaviors, victimizations, victim rights, and victim services, which are the same or unique in different cultures, societies, and nations. This perspective helps victimologists understand to what extent the victim behaviors of individuals or groups are universal and common to all humans and to what extent they are by-products of different physical and social environments.
