prescriptive theory

Definición

  • Prescriptive theory seeks to set the direction for organizational actors to pursue in real organizational situations. A good prescriptive theory has to work on two levels: First, it must have effective explanatory power and be sufficiently generalizable to work as a theory; second, it must pass the test of utility in that it can make a difference in the workplace.
