Definición
- Continuity of government (COG) is the principle of establishing defined procedures that allow government, at all levels, to continue its essential executive, legislative, and judicial operations and functionality in the event of a catastrophic event or conflict. Modern COG planning can be traced back to World War II–era Great Britain. [Source: Encyclopedia of Crisis Management; Continuity of Government]
