victimless crimes

Definición

  • Victimless crimes, which are also known as consensual crimes, are generally defined as crimes in which no one is hurt; in other words, there is no direct victim because individuals choose to participate. These are mala prohibita crimes, that is, they are crimes because the state has said so and not because they are behaviors that are inherently evil.
