Now based in Geneva, Switzerland, CARE operates a variety of programs, including the original emergency aid programs as well as more recent education, healthcare, hunger, and human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) initiatives, in over 70 countries.
