  • The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a not-for-profit foundation that was created by Klaus Schwab in 1971 with the purpose of improving the world through entrepreneurship in the global public interest. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, WEF is governed by a foundation board that consists of 70 people representing business, civil society, politics, and academia.
