  • Cyber crime is a relatively new kind of criminal activity that encompasses all the ways in which computers and other types of portable electronic devices capable of connecting to the Internet, such as cell phones and PDAs, are used to break laws and cause harm. In a more technical sense, it refers to the use of computers or other electronic devices via information systems such as organizational networks or the Internet in order to facilitate illegal behaviors.
