  • Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) is a counseling approach that combines motivational interviewing (MI) and personalized feedback of assessment results. This intervention can be applied to a wide variety of behavioral domains but originated in the area of addictions and has been most widely applied to individuals with alcoholism and substance use disorders.
