  • Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) is a set of school-based programs designed to prevent drug use among students of different age groups. Substance abuse, including excessive alcohol use, drug abuse, and smoking, accounts for approximately one quarter of all deaths in the United States every year.
