Definition
- Offenders who encounter community corrections are a diverse group of individuals, and numerous diversity variables must be considered when working with this population. Diversity represents differences or variations in class, culture, ethnicity, race, religious preference, gender, abilities, age, nationality, acculturation status, sexual orientation, language preferences, and more.
