Definición
- 1. La postluminescence peut se référer à un arc large brillant, parfois observé haut dans le ciel boréal au crépuscule, provoqué par de fines particules de poussière diffusant la lumièredans la haute atmosphère. 2. La postluminescence peut également signifier un rayonnement persistant qui subsiste après un événement tel qu'un sursaut de rayons gamma (qui a une postluminescence X) ou le Big Bang (dont la postluminescence est le rayonnement de fond micro-ondes cosmique).
