Definition
- Developed in the 1970s by Dan Welden; an image is made on a transparency, which is placed in contact with a light-sensitive polymer plate; a pane of glass is placed on top and it is exposed to light, either directly in the sun, or in a UV exposure box; water dissolves the unexposed portions of the plate
