Scope note
- Illuminated ms about the Apocalypse gospel of St. John made between 1000-1020 in the Reichenau scriptorium; commissioned by Holy Roman Emperor Otto III, and finished under his successor Henry II. Given in 1020 by Henry and his wife Kunigunde to the Collegiate Abbey church of St. Stephan in Bamberg upon its inauguration.
