- A fusion chamber consisting of two electrodes 500µm apart and overlaid with Zimmerman's fusion medium was used to fuse the blastomere and oocyte cytoplasm. The electrofusion process required that the membranes to be fused be parallel to the two electrodes. (Source : INRA)
