Following the recent work on linguistic variation in London we would predict that participants may be able to distinguish young White British speakers from Asian British and Black British speakers but will not find distinctive linguistic differences between the latter two ethnicities. (Cole, 2020)
In social media linguistic variation is abundant (Eisenstein 2013; Tatman 2015). (Nguyen & Grieve, 2020)
Linguistic variation was used to create all templates from base templates. (MacPhail, Harbecke, Raithel & Möller, 2024)
Such fragments do not necessarily constitute an MT error but may be due to acceptable linguistic variations. (Fomicheva, Bel, Specia, da Cunha & Malinovskiy, 2016)
