morphological annotation

The task/process of adding annotations pertaining to the morphological level of analysis (e.g. gender, number, person etc.) (Loterre)

A few tools exist to carry out morphological annotations. (Taji & Habash, 2020)
In this work by contrast we investigate the possibility of generating morphological annotations from completely underspecified input sequences. (Conforti, Huck & Fraser, 2018)
The morphological annotations (including lemmas) in our corpus will allow for searching on lemma (to be able to distinguish forms of cahui from forms of cahua). (Tyers, Pugh & Berthoud F., 2023)
The results for morphological annotation are lower (and for lemmatisation are even lower) but they are also linked to the accuracy of the POStagging. (Maion, Dimitrova & Bojadziev, 2024)
