  • For simplicity we combine some POS tags to one tag via the tag replacement; for example the tags JJR (adjective comparative) and JJS (adjective superlative) are replaced to JJ (adjective). (Tsai & Wang, 2014)
  • Pairs containing comparatives and/or superlatives which is the tag that our baseline models perform worst on are most common in the Oxford University Press genre. (Williams, Nangia & Bowman, 2018)
  • Using baseline model test accuracy overall as a metric (see Table 4) our baseline models had the most trouble on sentences containing comparatives or superlatives (losing 3-4 points each). (Williams, Nangia & Bowman, 2018)
