- a more proficient English speaker would probably use the word electronics rather than the expression electrical goods/products while native-like Italian speakers tend to use the inchoative verb infuriarsi more than the construction diventare furiosi (literally "becoming furious"). - Categories of future oriented verbs include mental activity ("anticipate" "expect") affective ("fear" "worry") planning ("plan" "prepare" "schedule") threatening ("threaten" "advocate" "warn") and inchoative verbs ("start" "initiate" and "launch"). - The verb types are determined by the subject of the sentence where the corresponding inchoative verb is used. (Kuribayashi, Ito, Suzuki & Inui, 2020)
- This said consider the causative/inchoative pairs in (9)-(11) where an inchoative verb can appear as part of an idiom while its causative counterpart cannot. (Takehisa, 2013)
