disentangling
Definition
- The process of separating distinct components of a representation, such as semantic, syntactic, or structural aspects of language, in order to gain better control and interpretability over models. The goal is to represent different attributes (like sentiment, topic, or style) independently, so that changes to one factor do not affect the others.
