test data

Data used to assess the performance of a final model. (ISO/IEC 22989:2022 Information technology — Artificial intelligence — Artificial intelligence concepts and terminology)

Both validation and test datasets from the shared task are considerably small especially for QA where they contain only around 100 examples per language. (Helcl & Libovický, 2023)
In the results we evaluate the six finetuned BERT models on six distinct test datasets both before and after fine-tuning. (Jang, Byun & Shin, 2024)
The test set is composed of completely multi-parallel sentences. (Purason & Tättar, 2022)
The validation split was reserved for hyperparameter optimization and the test split served as the source for labeled data construction. (Yoon, Yoon & Park, 2024)
When analyzing the evaluation data we excluded those of eight participants whose dialogues were interrupted due to system problems and who repeated the same utterances many times. (Kobori, Nakano & Nakamura, 2016)
