long-tail entity

An entity or concept that is relatively rare or infrequently mentioned in a knowledge graph.

Knowledge of long-tail entities is already sparse in KGs and is even more deficient in LLMs. (Sun, Xu, Zha, Liu & Dong, 2024)
To evaluate the performance of long-tail entities we first rank entity types by their frequency. (Wang, Zhang, Li, Liu, Han, Zhao & Ji, 2024)
