Preferred term
reprise
Broader concept
Example
- According to some estimations done by the Documents Control Unit around 30% of the documents translated in New York have some degree of reprise which might make them suitable for MT. (Pouliquen, Mazenc, Elizalde & Garcia-Verdugo, 2012)
- For example a reprise of a proper noun would be more likely to be read as signalling a constituent problem if it occurs on the first mention than on second mention. (Purver, Healey, King, Ginzburg & Mills, 2003)
- In order to examine these effects properly we have therefore designed an experimental technique to allow dialogues to be manipulated directly with reprises with the desired properties automatically introduced into the conversation. (Purver, Healey, King, Ginzburg & Mills, 2003)
